Physiotherapy aims to endorse as much as possible the patient to self-manage their condition and rehabilitation. The physiotherapist may use a number of manual techniques, electrotherapy and complimentary therapies to help restore or alleviate symptoms.

Physiotherapy bases its skills around manual techniques which involve the therapist mobilizing certain joints and soft tissue structures to alleviate symptoms and restore balance to the body.
